The checkbox starts unchecked. The owner can continue using Azlytix without consenting to text messages and can turn texts off from the same screen at any time.

How consent is recorded

The verified salon account owner signs in to the private Azlytix owner Brief.
She self-attests that she controls the destination, enters the same number twice, actively checks the unchecked consent box, and presses the opt-in button.
Azlytix stores an append-only record containing the owner identity, number, disclosure version, method, and timestamp.
After consent is recorded, Azlytix sends the one-time enrollment confirmation shown below only when its separate enrollment confirmation control is enabled; otherwise it records that the confirmation was skipped and sends no text. Recurring Morning Brief delivery remains a separate operator control.
The owner can revoke Azlytix authorization in the product. Replying STOP separately blocks delivery at the SMS provider.
