Azlytix is software that helps a salon owner see which of her former clients are due to be invited back. It is operated by Thomas Miles, a sole proprietor based in California, United States. In this policy, “we” and “Azlytix” mean that operator.
Questions about this policy, or about data we hold: thomasmiles18@icloud.com.
Two different groups of people appear in Azlytix, and they are treated differently:
We do not collect payment card numbers. If and when billing is enabled, card details are entered directly with our payment processor and never reach our servers.
We do not use salon business records to train general-purpose models, to build profiles for advertising, or for any purpose the salon has not asked for.
No mobile information is sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third party for those purposes.
A mobile number given to us for notifications is used only to deliver the messages the account holder asked for. It is passed to our SMS delivery provider for the sole purpose of transmitting those messages, and to no one else.
Azlytix sends text messages to account holders only. We never text a salon’s clients. When the salon reaches out to one of its own clients, that message is composed and sent from the salon’s own phone, through the salon’s own carrier — Azlytix is not in that path.
The optional Morning Brief programme may send a one-time enrollment confirmation for each new consent event when the separate enrollment confirmation control is enabled. Recurring delivery is independently controlled and, when enabled, sends at most one message per business morning, Monday through Saturday. Message and data rates may apply. Details, including how to stop it and the public review copy of the opt-in flow, are in the SMS Program Terms & Conditions.
We use a small number of providers to run the service. Each one may process data only to provide its service to us, and none of them may use it for their own marketing.
Account information and salon business records are kept while the account is open. When an account is closed, or on written request from the account holder, we delete the salon’s records from Azlytix. Server logs are kept for a short operational period and then discarded. Some records may be retained longer where the law requires it.
Data is held in an access-controlled database, is transmitted over encrypted connections, and stored credentials for connected booking systems are encrypted at rest. No system is perfectly secure, and we do not claim otherwise.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights over your personal information, including the right to know what is held and to have it deleted. We honour those requests regardless of where you live.
Azlytix is a business tool. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
If this policy changes we will post the new version on this page and update the date at the top. Material changes affecting account holders will also be sent by email.
